Bob Murphy, Champions Tour player and African American Golfers Hall of Fame Humanitarian recepient (May 29, 2011) holds a golf clinic during the AAGHOF Awards & Celebration event during May 26-30, 2011 at the Palm Beach Gardens Golf Course. His helpers were Adrian Stewart, Norris Brown, Evette Booker & Amani Riley, all Inaugural members of the African American Collegiate & Youth Golfers Hall of Fame chaired by James Garvin, Jr., President, Golf Course Specialist, Inc. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

PGA Champions Tour Golfer, Jim Dent took time off the tour to give a golf clinic at the West Palm Beach Golf Course during the African American Golfers Hall of fame Celebration & Induction event on May 29, 2010. A Hall of Famer himself, he said that it is always important to give back to the community and help others, especially children. Past Hall of Famers Gordon Brown Sr. & James Black assisted with the clinic instruction as well as Stanley A. Wilson, Jr., Assitant Golf Professional, Bear Lakes Country Club and ICYG Youth Golf Advisor; University of Eastern Shore student Annamae Adderly; William Dillon, director & Chris Prosser-UMES PGA Golf Management program.The African American Golfers Hall of Fame would like to thank its volunteers for helping make the golf clinic a success. One of the highlights of the clinic was the presentation of "Whats in the bag!" by ICYG Director of Golf Clewis Wright, Jr. It not only kept the crowd laughing but it also emphasized the importance of "Say NO To Drugs, Say YES to Education, Culture & Golf " to our youth.
